VBS Slide/Tape/VCR Missionary Program

Our VBS Slide/Tape/VCR Missionary Program is being revised and hopefully will be used by many congregations this summer. Well over a hundred different congregations, camps, and youth churches have used the program. The program has a clown as the main character and has youth of various ages.

The program was designed to be used as five six-minute sessions.  However, it can be arranged to fit any schedule. The clown not only teaches about the KYOWVA ministry, but also instructs the youth on why they should not miss Sunday School, youth meetings, church and why they should attend church camp. The youth are also taught they should not smoke, drink alcohol or use drugs. The evils of watching dirty movies, reading dirty books, and telling dirty jokes is also taught in the program. Emphasis is placed on obeying rules and the law.

2008 KYOWVA V.B.S. SLIDE/TAPE, VIDEO OR DVD PROGRAM

During the past twenty V.B.S. seasons, our New Revised KYOWVA Slide/Tape Or VCR Program has been used in well over one hundred (100) Vacation Bible Schools, several camps and Youth Churches, as a Missionary Project. This program was prepared to teach youth about the need for all to be mission-minded.

The program features "KYOVE" the Clown . He is the official KYOWVA mascot. Numerous youth are involved in the various scenes, as they, (the youth) tell the story of the KYOWVA Evangelistic Association.

Many years ago, the church realized the value of VBS & CAMP. It attracts the non-churched and opens up doors for evangelism. It gives opportunity to the brethren to exercise their talents in teaching, craft work, refreshment serving, transportation, etc.. Let us praise our Lord for the value of V.B.S. & CAMP.

The KYOWVA DVD PROGRAM is approximately thirty minutes in length. Thus, a five day V.B.S. or CAMP could use six minutes of the program each day .

KYOWVA gave birth to a new congregation in the Parkersburg, WV area in 2001 . The south area of the city as well as Mineral Wells is the area being addressed. By your using our VBS Program you can help us to see this come to pass. This mission program has brought many dollars into the KYOWVA treasury. This target area has 80,000 people who need to be taught about the Independent Christian Church.

All you need is your church's PA. system and DVD equipment. We will be glad to supply you with : 1) A DVD along with a manuscript of the program.  2) KYOWVA brochures explaining the mission of KYOWVA. 3) A set of questions which can be used for competition. 4) Parkersburg stats and Quiz Sheets. 5) Masters for your copier to bring more excitement to your youth. If additional material is desired, it also can be provided. We in turn - would appreciate KYOWVA being the recipient of your V.B.S. Missionary Offering. Praise God for "Love Gifts"!
